Dr. John C. Hughes, D.O.
Dr. John Hughes, D.O. practices osteopathic and integrative medicine. His clinic, Aspen Integrative Medicine provides the latest innovations in modern and natural medical care in Aspen and Basalt, Colorado. He is also the founder of TBI Therapy, a clinic that offers treatment for traumatic brain injury. Dr. Hughes graduated from the Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2007 and received training in family practice at the University of Arizona.
Dr. Hughes has pursued extensive post-graduate training in integrative medicine, prolotherapy and osteopathic manipulative therapy. He is a speaker for the Aspen Sports Medicine Foundation (ASMF), the American Academy of Ozonotherapy (AAO) and the American Association of Orthopaedic Medicine (AAOM).
David J. Nickamin, C.M.T./A.M.T.A.
David has been studying, living and practicing health and wellness for over 20 years. His experience began with his father, who practiced pediatrics and inspired all four of his children to eventually pursue careers in health and wellness. David studied at the University of Arizona and Northern Arizona University and earned his bachelor’s degree. Soon after, he moved to Colorado and studied with the Boulder College of Massage Therapy.
“The focus of my practice is about meeting people where they are and beginning every treatment right there, with them.” By utilizing a variety of techniques and practices that he has acquired and embodied for more than two decades, David finds that a multidirectional philosophy and approach benefits most.
Adam J. Nickamin, C.R.P./N.C.T.M.B.
Adam attended the University of Colorado Boulder and received his bachelor’s degree in fine arts in 2001. He is a certified Rolfing practitioner and a nationally certified massage therapist.
Adam attended the Boulder College of Massage Therapy and received his National Certification in Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork in 2001 with 1,000 hours of training. That year, he also received his orthopedic and sports massage certification. He received his certification as a Rolfing practitioner in 2006 at the Rolf Institute of Structural Integration in Boulder, Colorado.
Adam also received his SourcePoint Therapy certification in 2007. His memberships include: International Association of Structural Integrators, International Massage Association, American Heart Association CPR & First Aid Certification, and the American Massage Therapy Association.
